What
Will I Hear? Audio packages can differ in
format, length and style. Each package is developed to the client’s brief and
to suit their specific needs. Websites often have many elements that can be
enhanced by converting them into audio format, and new elements can be added
that might be available only in audio form. This audio can be designed to be
heard in conjunction with the website or as downloadable podcasts which can be
listened to whilst travelling or at home. Format
Examples News
Bulletins Ideal for websites and podcasts
where information is constantly being updated. Consisting of a scripted news-style
bulletin read by a professional presenter. Broadcast
Style Features These packages are produced to
sound like a radio programme. Typically they would consist of interviews and
illustrative sound with scripted links voiced by a professional
presenter. Single
interview The single interview allows key
members of an organisation to share their knowledge and expertise in a more
naturalistic way than simply reading from a pre-prepared script. Led by an
experienced interviewer and edited to ensure that key information is conveyed
to the audience. Audio
Newscast These would typically consist of
interviews, features and scripted “news” stories. This style of package can
be updated on a regular basis. Events Many organisations will hold conferences and
events which cannot be attended by all interested parties. These
can be recorded and edited for distribution by podcast or via an organisation’s
website. Narrative
Information usually distributed in
the form of booklets or pamphlets read by a professional narrator to produce
an “audio book”. |
